Croatian company “Klimaoprema dd” – founded over 45 years ago and has significant experience in the production of HVAC equipment and clean room engineering.
The Test Laboratory Project has been developed in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of Zagreb, in compliance with ISO 5219. The main purpose of this test Laboratory is determination of the characteristics of air supply openings, performance of measurements and staff training, all with a view to obtaining the data on the tested products to be used as a reliable support by the designers. We use the measuring equipment of well renowned suppliers, in particular ABB, National Instruments and Dantecdynamics, specially designed for the measurement of indoor thermal comfort conditions, thus meeting the measurement requirements set out by the standards EN 13182, ISO 7736 and ASHRAE standard 113. In addition to standard measurements, the Laboratory makes it possible to simulate the conditions in particular rooms, in their full size and under real conditions. The Test Laboratory also has an educational role and is used by the students who carry out research of the characteristics of air-conditioning, heating and cooling systems in buildings, write and publish their seminar and degree essays.
Research & development
At Klimaoprema d.d. new product development does not end with the final product, but it is extended to the production line. We develop our proprietary manufacturing technology. The ongoing synergy between R&D and production results in advances and optimisation of our manufacturing processes.

Production processes are taking place in two locations, in Samobor and Nova Gradiška, both in Croatia, EU. World production lines are developed in collaboration between Klimaoprema’s experts and renowned European manufacturers. The manufacturing processes run on a number of highly-efficient, robotized production lines and CNC machines granting the shortest manufacturing times and international quality level. Our production lines are arranged so that the raw material, mostly sheet metal in rolls, moves fast through individual operations, without internal transport, which results in a very short manufacturing time. Also, waste is reduced to a minimum. Such concept of the manufacturing process, arranged on the area of approx. 20.000 m², with a newly constructed large high-rack warehouse, provides manufacturing capacities that can satisfy the highest requirements of customers. The entire manufacturing process is controlled by ERP software ensuring a highly efficient flow of information required for prompt response towards the customer.
